Getting Ready to Switch to the new Purview eDiscovery interface
If you're facing the switch in May, I've got some resources for you.
Before we return to the new eDiscovery interface, I wanted to share a scheduling note. Following the regular publishing schedule, I would send out the May version of the M365 News Update next Tuesday, May 6.
In light of attending Jazzfest in New Orleans from May 1 to 4 and then flying to Vegas for the M365 Community Conference on the 5th, I will skip publishing a newsletter next week. I figure there is likely to be some new information gained at the conference that I would want to include in the roundup anyway, so why not push it back a week?
If you're attending the conference, please let me know; I’d love to say hello!
Now let's discuss those of you transitioning to the new interface from your current e3 licensing, thanks to the end-of-life dates for Content Search and Standard eDiscovery approaching next month.
Last week, I attended a webinar that covered exactly this scenario. If you're overwhelmed with this sudden change, definitely check it out.
Additionally, for a deeper dive into the search and keyword query editor, Ryan and Heather are well-equipped to provide guidance. I’m looking forward to more from their series.
I hope that these two resources will help you be better prepared for the transition.
I’m also going to share with paid subscribers some of the features I’m most excited about as you make this transition. I recognize that having a month to adjust workflows is a challenge. However, with the unification of the interface, you're also getting some significant improvements.
